What's Planned Retail?
Planned Retail is a comprehensive database of retail construction projects in the planning and construction stages developed specifically for sales and marketing professionals in the retail sector.
What are your sources? Where do you get your information?
We have a highly trained research staff that gathers the information from thousands of resources, including those that are publicly available (articles, government filings, etc) and direct from project/building owners and managers. Our goal is to inform you of every significant retail construction project throughout the country as early as possible, accurately as possible and as detailed as possible. Each report contains key contacts, location, footprint, development type, retail chain, and all the details you need to determine if a project is relevant to you. In addition, we've created a powerful yet user friendly interface to search, access and manage all of this data. Whether your focus is, Planned Retail will allow you to quickly find the most relevant projects.
Who uses Planned Retail?
It's used by sales, marketing and management executives to discover new opportunities, analyze markets and to create custom applications.
How often is the site updated?
Planned Retail is updated by BuildCentral's Research Department every day. In an effort to track projects from the initial announcement through groundbreaking and completion, we scour regulatory submissions and approval applications for the earliest information on proposed retail construction. We then contact those involved in the project to enhance the information and to ensure accuracy. Planned Retail also includes MapView, which allows you to search, identify and analyze projects on an interactive map. Although still in beta stage, our intention is to map all active projects to provide you with a truly unique perspective of the projects and markets.
How many projects are in the database?
You can find the number of projects in the database by searching Planned Retail.
How do I access Planned Retail?
You'll have immediate and continuous access once you subscribe to the reports on our web site.
Are the reports available in hardcopy?
Not at this time. If there's enough demand for it, we will consider it in the future.
Can I download Planned Retail into an Excel, csv or txt file?
Due to copyright and pirating issues, download capabilities are not available with a standard subscription. You'll see this option during the subscription process. If you are interested in a multi-user subscription or distributing Planned Retail to others within your organization, contact us at 866-316-5300 (US only) or 312-223-1600 (Intl) and ask to speak to one of our Corporate Sales Managers.
What forms of payment do you take?
We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) and company checks.
What if I want to cancel my subscription?
You can cancel at the end of the initial Term or any Renewal Term, without penalty, by providing written notice to the other party at least thirty (30) days prior to the end of the initial Term or any Renewal term thereafter. To ensure that the correct account is cancelled, we DO NOT cancel accounts by e-mail request or any other means. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm Central Time.
